Information Forum Information Update
Posted by: Brian Santee - 04-11-2017, 01:28 PM - Forum: General - Replies (8)

I want to let everyone know that the forum is now more secure.

This is because the server is now using what is known as a SSL certificate. A fancy term that allows your computer to know that the site you are on is the site it claims to be.

Why do you care?
Because with this certificate the information that your internet provider can see is approximately none now. Before they could see the information you sent and received from the forum. Now all they can see is the web address of the forum.
This makes no practical difference in that respect but it makes your login and password more secure from attack.

Why did I write this up?
I have a long break between my classes today and felt like rambling on.

If you have any questions just let me know. I am glad that the forum is seeing the use and growth that it is.

Use the more secure page at:

WTB Bug Stinger Rubber Seat Grommets and Peddle Rubbers
Posted by: Stan Crocker - 04-11-2017, 01:15 PM - Forum: For Sale/Wanted - Replies (5)

Just finishing up a 1969 Stinger build.  Still looking for the rubber grommets used to mount the seat.  Also looking for the peddle rubbers.

Jon Woods in CA was very helpful, but didn't have these in stock.

  Did you know?

Did you know there is a useful feature to save you time when you check into the forum?

The cool part is you do not have to do a thing. With just a glance you know when new posts are out in the various forum topics. Here is what to look for...
