  Mac 1-76 saw
Posted by: Tim Exley - 03-08-2017, 01:22 AM - Forum: Mcculloch Engines - Replies (3)

Found a Mac 1-76 saw. 100cc built from 62-63. Could it be used for a clone for Mc-7 or Mc-8?
Or maybe Mc-30 or Mc-40? How difficult to convert for kart use? Thanks.

  Checking things over
Posted by: Aaron Kruger - 03-07-2017, 07:17 AM - Forum: General - Replies (5)

Checking things over and I noticed this, see pic. It appears to be cast that way and the screw was nice and tight when I took it apart to clean everything up. Would this worry anyone? It was on a motor that had been ran so I'm thinking it will be ok but want to ask the people in the know. I think strokerace has one on ebay I can grab up if anyone thinks this should not be used. Thanks in advance.

  Gasket thickness
Posted by: Aaron Kruger - 03-07-2017, 06:25 AM - Forum: General - Replies (7)

How much does it matter? I'm needing a couple of gasket kits, when I messaged a guy he asked what thickness I needed. I told him I didn't know and that I would ask around. I think the kit I was looking at was 1/32" thick but he could do any thickness. This is the kit.
