I am currently restoring a kart my Dad used to race in the early 70s. I want to replace the tie rod ends which are a 3/8-24 thread with a 1/4 hole in the ball. I can't find these on any of the sites I searched. Any suggestions?
The other thing I need is an axle. The one I have is very rusty. What brand do you recommend?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael

How can you tell which WICO flywheel fits a right hand (CLOCKWISE rotation at the PTO). Does anyone have one, either NOS or in great condition for a NOS engine? Thanks. Ted

I just want to say thank you to Larry Brown for hosting the two-day fun event at P1 Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucxon on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Larry, Pruit Ginsberg, Joe and Dean Kanocz, Pat Arnold and I just had a ball running what is certainly one of the best tracks in America. Dean grilled the brats and burgers, and did his usual masterful job of cooking. Needless to say, none of us went hungry! Yolanda handled the entry fees, and generally brightened the days with her sweet disposition. Pruit, Dean and Joe helped me a ton by starting me and by helping me out of the kart when I came in after each run with rubber legs. Joe brought his beautiful restored candy red '61 Fox with twin 580's on board. It was his first time on the track, and despite a few teething issues with the new rig, I hope he had as much fun running as we did watching him. All of us ran very well indeed. It's a really enjoyable event, and our little group gets along like family. Thanks to you all! Ted
