Well I'll tell ya I wish I was 20 years younger when this chance came along. It was a nice sunny day when I was there remembering all the times I was on the track( and off) just sitting on one of the corners next to the thruway overlooking the area. Yes it's overgrown with weeds and trees and mother nature hasn't been kind to the track surface, BUT a little elbow grease and a few dollars it could be back to normal. The area surrounding the area has changed quite a bit. They now have a casino at the race track, Hotels, restaurants and a shopping center just down the street.
    The time is right to be brought back to life. I like the track name Jim as it has a nice ring to it. Any chance both Scott and I could take you up on your culinary offer at Avon this year ???
     Ted we wish you lived a little closer as the East coast is buzzing.

Now that I have found my pulled pork supply is at Walmart I can whip up a heck of a great lunch.  Once I get Rolf's calendar then I can plan my 2022 events.   I am looking forward to seeing Cheryl driving her new kart with the Mac 49 on it.

Sam, Scott, Ted, David and the incomparable Mr. Donovan! I have had enough snow to last me my time, but it would sure be good to see every one of you. I keep trying to help the East and Midwest guys with my middling knowledge and it just ain't the same as being there! I don't dare even make Tucson this weekend. Photon and n1ke are both ready to dust off, add air to tires, fuel to the tank and oil to chain and gearbox. There they sit. I miss all of you. Somebody buy Batavia and resurrect it.
DO NOT forget your prayers for Ron Cubel. His recovery from West Nile is very slow. I spoke with him on the phone for just a couple minutes this week. He needs our good thoughts, and so does Sue. her plate is overflowing. Ted

Well it’s official, $109,000.00 plus a 10% buyers premium won the auction.
I hope the new owner is into karting, time will tell.
