A couple questions on Mk.3 Cheetah’s and engine related stuff.

Almost all the pipes on these karts are not packed like the silencers on dirt bikes, they are just metal cones and chambers at best. The pipe in your picture does not have any packing.

Got it. It will either be polished, painted, or chromed. I assumed that any of those would require taking the packing out if there was any.

vico ., I have a couple savin pipes with removable silencers ..im gonna pull one apart see if capable of packing .I don't think they had the full gist of pipes yet didn't realize how to tune with packing ...seems like deff help bottom and mid ..??
for years on all my kx250,s I cut 2" off silencer wrap my packing so tight its like open pipe .then put better spring in kips valve best 4 dollar mod out there .made pull like a tractor in middle didn't have keep on top of pipe all time and took out alot of rear tire chatter on breaker bumps ...
