Well at least the rod, piston and block are okay. NOT! Ouch.

Fortunately we got lucky and the loose needles never got up the bore so the piston & block are OK, no damage. The rod is toast and I replaced both bearings and seals and dressed the stuffer, now she is all back together, ready to run again with a shiny new crankshaft !!

Wow! That is about as good as the news could have been. Another McCulloch beats the odds and lives to fight another day.
