what you have is a fun kart probably vintage if you define vintage as 25 years or older .
if you're worried about damaging it's value as a vintage kart it you wouldn't do any damage fixing it up.
best guess from front wheels is a manco or clark.
it's not a pile of g0ld but it looks to be in good condition certainly worth a few hours of your time to make safe and presentable as a great toy for your son.
as a general rule of thumb any two seater kart aren't hugely valuable.
generally the karts that do have value are single seat , former racing karts.
some single seat fun karts are worth more than i'd suppose, but that's not my area of expertise , so beyond that i'd be guessing.
