Guys, as I recall it the only engine in the 101 series that came with left hand threads is the 101B. The D and M/C actually came with straight shaft cranks but some shops would get the motors and swap out the cranks and install the 101B version.
The Mc 101, 101A and 101A/A motors all came with the standard right hand threads and a small key slot.
Other than the PTO end the cranks are the same and are interchangeable in all of the 101 models.
