I HAVE A LIST OF "SUPER ENGINES" WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE CRANK AND ROD NUMBERS.   FOR THE 101A,AA,B ETC. ENGINES THE CRANK NUMBER IS LISTED AS 69346.  I HAVE A 69346 THAT HAS RIGHT HAND PTO THREADS AND A PTO KEYWAY.  CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS?  I ASSUME MY LIST IS INCORRECT.

SMOKEY
early cranks for 101's were right hand w/keyway if memory serves.
Yes. All my 101A/A's were RH thread W/keyway. TJ
Hi Blaine,
I hope all is well. I have several Mac charts and information pages from the macbobaust.com website bookmarked on my computer. I think they’re also posted on the forum here, but I can forward them to you if you would like. One chart indicates the MC101, MC101A, and the MC101A/A were all available with either right handed or left handed PTO threads. It also states the 101B, 101C, 101D, and the 101M/C came only with left handed PTO threads.

Another macbob chart indicates the crankshaft part number for the 101A is 69250 while all the others are listed as 69346. Who knows if the information on the 101A is correct or not because he also uses part number 69250 to identify a connecting rod in the same chart. Maybe it’s a typo. The ipl for the 101A/A I have shows the crankshaft with a key way and the same 69346 part number you outlined.
Guys, as I recall it the only engine in the 101 series that came with left hand threads is the 101B. The D and M/C actually came with straight shaft cranks but some shops would get the motors and swap out the cranks and install the 101B version.
The Mc 101, 101A and 101A/A motors all came with the standard right hand threads and a small key slot.
Other than the PTO end the cranks are the same and are interchangeable in all of the 101 models.
