GK 800
#1
We've been running a GK 800 for the last 3 years, love it. Problem is the engine plates aren't level with the axle so every time I mount an engine it's a pain to shim, square, and get the chain tension right. Takes a lot of fartin around. My question is,if I cut off the plates and go with like an Asuza swing mount will it weaken the back end? Let it flex too much? Seems like it should be as stiff as others that use swing mounts. Just thought I'ld ask before I screw up a decent kart. Thanks John
