2 vintage karts for sale
#1
I have 2 vintage karts for sale. No wheels. Both karts have been modified and can be taken back to original.
I think that one is a Go Kart 400. Not sure. The other one is also very early 60’s but I forget the name. It originally had the Gar-Bro wheels.
Please text me for the other pics I have.
$100 for both karts located in Huntington Beach CA
Thanks,
Chris

post some pix of the front axle on the 400.
that kart is modified ALOT but era correct mods i think.
not too good for a restoration but really cool for an era correct racing kart modified.
looks like it was being raced and updated for several years.
has the live axle added, the better steering shaft front porch added.
steering has been modified too.
a neat kart too bad its in cali.

Hello Dave,

Apologize for the late response. I just saw your message.

That is what I thought as well. I just sold them yesterday but I still have them as the guy isn’t getting them till this weekend. I will take more close up pics of the 400.

I just want them to go to a good home so to speak. I have other karts that I will work on first before I would have ever got to these.
I have a 1960 Bug Lightning that I picked up a few yrs ago that came with Spyder wheels, and a Rathmann Exterminator, that I want to work on when I get back to them. And two 1961 Bug Wasps that would be fun.

But yes the green 400 is a cool little kart.

Best,
Chris

In the last pic is when I originally picked it up. The back axle hanger on one side was still attached. The other side was broken. I gave it to a friend who wanted it. I thought he would have fixed the broken axle hanger but instead he chopped off the good side and the bad side and made some Mickey Mouse attachment.
