Conn Rod ID

Hi all;

Rummaging through my odd box of parts I ran into this old connecting rod.  I was thinking maybe it was a Clinton rod.  Anyone know for sure.  The number on the side is 677924-3.  Here is a picture.

I would agree that it is a Clinton rod - probably for a 4 stroke.
The number doesn't match anything in my cross reference.
Probably just a casting number
