It is missing a few parts that I’ll need to find, but a good start.
Would the kart have been rear engine originally?
How would the enduro tank fit with the side winder engine in the way?

What would have been the original engine? I assume the 5hp B & S is not original.
Would a West Bend 580 be appropriate? (I have one)

Here are some pics after I cleaned it up a bit.


nice find...don't think a WB 580 would be correct time wise,,,,but,,, way better than the tater digger...LOL..   it most likely would have had an early McCulloch on it
