pete was a great guy and an awesome driver mechanic , fabricator.
we talked almost weekly, he was one of the good guys you rarely meet.
he got wiped out by canadian national health care.
he's gone in for a colonoscopy , but in canada you are required to get a test first , to see if you qualify for one.
the test came back positive but the health care system dropped the ball and he wasn't told .
had he been just allowed a colonoscopy they would probably caught it in time.
he found out in new york playing at avon.
he got sick was puking and went home.
couldn't poop went to see doctors.
they found something like 6" of cancer in his intestines.
it had metastasized and gotten into his liver.
it took a long while for him to pass.
it freaked me out that he was terminal.
i never could force myself to go see him , just couldn't.
always regretted that bone head move.
