I'd never met Pete. I'm probably older now than he was. He looks as healthy as any of us in that pic.
Side note: Two buddies of mine from middle school are identical twins. One went for a routine colonoscopy around 45 yrs old and they found one or more polyps of the bad type, whatever. His Dr says, "You'd better tell your brother to get checked." He did, and he did. When the brother came out of anesthesia, his Dr. said, "Your brother saved your life." Apparently 2nd brother was much worse than the first. Bottom line, both are still with us 10 yrs later. These days, from the patient's perspective, there's nothing to a colonoscopy.
On a much brighter note, I'm looking forward to hangin' out with my buddy Dave L. this summer. It's been too long. I gotta make it happen!
