Mac Blocks
#1
Hi;

Does anyone here know if there is a chainsaw block similar/equivalent to a Mc9?

Thanks;

long story short any saw block with a detached head is likely mc5 or mc6 spec.

its possible the mcsix and 7,8,9 series all have the same deck height.
my memory is sketchy so i would need to measure.
deck height on the later standards is definitely same , thats blocks from mc seven to mc9.
maybe the mc90 too.
the bore would be the other determining factor.

MC 8 and Mc 9 blocks are identical. There are several model chainsaw blocks without a removable head that come close, but the integral head is square like later model kart engines. In stock form you would not know the difference on the track. But to modify the chainsaw block would be difficult to add back ports.

I also think, but not positive most if not all of the potential standard saw blocks(100cc) will have ball bearings on both sides of crank. But dont hold me to this.
