hi guys,
we're in a new year and i'm cleaning up the membership list.
i was inspired by a recent spammer attack i am still cleaning up.
we had made a mistake and accidentally allowed strangers that applied for membership to post replies.
that is fixed but while i was back there i cleaned up the lists a bit.
so far i deleted nearly all the members that never asked for a name change.
i sent emails and posted warnings so deleting members that had handles was and is the next step.
i say is because a very few handles that showed posting activities will get one more email requesting a name correction.
if i don't hear from them i'll delete them too.
to be clear we use REAL NAMES HERE
no handles no partial names though initial for first or last name is allowed.
NO NUMBERS EITHER
these rules prevent about 90% of spamming so we are not changing them.
