A very, very large portion of our society has no idea - and no appreciation of - what has been sacrificed on their behalves.

Widely spread, this video might just fix a bit of that.

No veteran that I know of has ever claimed to be a hero, though they most often will explain that they served with heroes - the ones who didn't make it home.  They are the ones we honor on Memorial Day.

Just happened to watch the Amazon Studios movie, "Last Flag Flying".

A great movie to watch on Memorial Day.

I was surprised at how good it was.  Very timely and poignant.
