Last year Rolf Hill posted a thread about auxiliary throttle return springs and engine kill switches, encouraging everyone to equip their karts with them in the interest of safety. Sounded like sound advice, so I did both.
I just took the carburetor off the engine that I ran at Thompson 2 weeks ago and discovered that the stock spring had broken. I don't know when it broke. I never even realized it. The auxiliary spring picked up the slack and I just kept going!
So, thanks Rolf.
