Class for vintage event
#19
guys, dial; it back a bit with the comments.
getting a touch close to personal comments.

on the us820.
way back about 10-12 years ago a vka guideline was changed to allow 820's in historic classes.
alot of whining ensued.
modified 820's being unfair , they were available then thus legal blah blah blah.
you namre it and it was said.
the end result was we decided in historic a stock 820 is what vka means nothing else.

stock 820's in that class could be one of the fastest karts but that then depends on driver.
i know mike mostly has parking lot experience so i can and will answer his question clearly.

run the historic class that's where you will be comfortable and matched to your current skill set.
perhaps later in the season you'll want to be challenged with faster grids if so move up to the sportsman class.
running with other karts on the track will be a different thing at first but you'll be fine.
this advise is good for any new driver.
hope this helps
