Best helmet value I am aware of is the Typhoon, available from Amazon.  $119.  These are nice helmets.

Never heard of that mfg, does not mean it's not good though. Mine is a Bell Vortex. $180 helmet for $100.

The Bell Vortex is a good close-out buy at $100.

It is, however, a 2010 Snell helmet that will be out of date in 2 years.

The Typhoon is a very nice helmet (I have two of them), and is a 2015 Snell, good for another 7 years.

5 more years for $20.

Gary, I went on my head at Delmar so I figured I should get a new one! Mine was 6 years old anyway. Everyone needs to ask their self how much is my head worth?
