You mean the helmet that used to be white, right?
Or did he finally break down and get a new Snell-approved helmet?
The Typhoon helmets, by the way are the best value in a new Snell-approved helment.

Johnny,
All the Bitwell products appear to be DOT only, and are not "legal" at vintage events. Snell-rated helmets are required.
Now, the "vintage" style helmet you pointed us too is neat, but it is not that"vintage" (at least compared to the open-face helmet you see me in in my avatar), so it's hard to see the draw to that helmet over like the Typhoon I provided a link to. In addition, the Bitwell helmet is like $189, whereas the Typhoon is $119.
Save some money and get the Typhoon. I have a couple of them to use as "loaners", and they are really a very nice helmet at a very treasonable price.

Unfortunately, I can't get a "small" from Typhoon. I'm pretty much relegated to Bell or the like. Anyhow, they had fun! I'm busy cleaning stuff up. Next is the Bill Rowan carb conversion. I have castor EVERYWHERE! Ted
