adjuster screws on MCP brake caliper

Would you turn the adjuster screws (allen heads) for the pads on the MCP brake clockwise to move them "in" (i.e. closer to the rotor)?  Logically, you would think so, but they may have a different kind of arrangement inside.  Thanks
