Happy 4th everyone. Before I buy sprockets for my dart kart I,am working on ,does anyone know what a good starting number would get me close. I,am 66 , weigh 170lbs, Mac 5 motor horstman rev grip 10 tooth clutch, rupp a bone kart. Thankyou

Mel, with an Mc5, EVERYTHING depends on whether the engine is modified, and especially whether it has a thin ring piston, or the original thick ring. This engine in stock form hasn't a lot of torque or RPM. With a stocker and your weight, maybe start at 10-70 or 10-72 and go from there. Even if it's not optimum, you'll be in the ball park, and you'll have fun and a good ride. Ted
