Finally had a little time today, mounted motor, opened the Methanol container and heard a hiss that sounded like it had a good seal. Shook fuel container and then poured some into a water bottle. Looked clear and smelled ok. Worked fine in the Kart. I did empty the kart fuel line a few times when I saw some particles dancing in the line while at idle. I will check the tillotson intake filter. So the VP methanol DID survive the winter in the plastic container in the garage. I will use this first and start a fresh batch for races. Thanks for the replies !
