Parts for McCulloch R1
#1
I am currently restoring a kart my Dad used to race in the early 70s. I want to replace the tie rod ends which are a 3/8-24 thread with a 1/4 hole in the ball. I can't find these on any of the sites I searched. Any suggestions?

The other thing I need is an axle. The one I have is very rusty. What brand do you recommend?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Michael, It's nice to restore correctly however depending on what kind of power you intend to put on the kart there is no way i want to drive it with a 1/4" bolt in the tie rod end. I know Bug and McCulloch were that way but in the interest of safety I would go larger.
