Seems for the most part "Vintage Karting" appeals mostly to old guys....that were kids when all this got started back in the late fifties, but as the years pass by a few not as old guys and gals get excited about how it was and join in.
Usually it starts when they find a kart, are given one or happen upon the remains of an oldie and get to wondering what it was.....that sparks an interest and you've got a vintage karter.
But being the age of "Online Information" ......where do you get the facts ? All the old mags, books and suppliers have long ago moved on. Even our Vintage Forums have crumbled into the dust......so at best you have a few Association sites, U-Tube videos and "Here" to glean the info.
Of course if you search long and hard enough on ebay, craigslist, swap meets and go to the few Vintage Karting Events
you may actually collect enough info to figure out the story of kartings golden years !
Of course this may be the real golden years and we don't even realize it
