FOR SALE: Is there a quick and easy way to tell a 610 from an 820 ?

610 bore is 2.187, 820 bore is 2.531. Magnet test works, 610's have a cast iron sleeve, there are a few late 610's that have a chrome bore so the magnet test will not work on those. A rough measurement through the exhaust port: from the exhaust gasket flange the 610 measures 2.991, the 820 measures 3.154, mind you these are rough measurements with a digital caliper but are close enough to tell a 610 from an 820, all this is with stock bores.
