We have another HERO in our vintage karting ranks. I would like to publicly say thanks again to Mark D'Elia for saving my buddy Kirk Gufstason's life at the hotel over the Broadhead event weekend. I'm sure Kirk would be doing this himself but he does not get on the computer. Kirk was eating breakfast and choked on some cornflakes and was not getting any air. Mark jumped in with the Heimlich maneuver and dislodged the blockage. I was not there and missed the whole thing. We had a similar incident at the Broadhead track a few years ago when Rick Magnuson choked on some water and Terry Kelly stepped in and saved Rick's life. THANKS AGAIN YOU GUYS!!!
