Karl sent me a nice MC92 block and head, and an NOS piston which had been sitting around. Old cosmoline can be a issue. (For me) the easiest way to remove is with a heat gun and cheap spray lubricant. Some of my dedicated solvents won't make this old stuff budge. I alternate heat and spray while rotating the bearing. Once it's all clean out the burnisher will do the rest.
The block was taped and blasted and in the burnisher for 1.5hrs.
Thanks Karl!
