hi guys i have a McCulloch Mc10 Magnesium carburetor witch has a ball seat. i have been trying to set pop off but it will not hold after popping off just slowly leeks down. i have another mag carb that works great and it likes around 10 pounds pop off it starts easy and works well the ball seat on the first seat dosent look damaged it has a 1/8 ball. if i set the pop off over 10 pounds like 15 and up it will not start. has anyone else had this problem. i can switch carbs to a tillitson and it fires up and runs good

good news i took a 1/8 ball end dremel and cleaned up the ball seat by hand and it pops off around 12 and holds at 10 psi with light oil

nice ...that's a good hack ....
I hate anything with a gross valve ..maybe this will ease the hate ...lol..
anything I ever tried was very inconsistent ...

until they stopped making them ..???
