I suspect this clutch is from the 70's and am asking if anyone recognizes it from a minibike or go cart
they owned. My search for this clutch on google produced nothing, so if you had 1st hand knowledge
of the application to the specific make and model machine this was used on, clue me in please.

If it is asymmetrical (flat on the inside sheave) it would be for a mini-bike and if it is really symmetrical (evenly angled sheaves) then it would be on a go kart. It would only be useful if you had both the driven unit and the driver units.. Looks to be in very nice shape.

Well the driver unit is the one in the picture and that would be mounted on the crankshaft, the driven unit is much larger and is mounted on a jackshaft that you would build yourself, if it is a symmetric system. The asymmetric system is the series 30 that Comet built that bolts right onto the 4 bolt pattern around the crankshaft of a 4 cycle engine.
Since I have no idea how to load a picture onto this site if anyone wants a picture of how we build our unit, they just have to e-mail me direct. A picture is worth 1,001 words. Kind of like the girl from Argentina that you sent me. That would take 1,002 words.
