I was curious as to the 820 program. Obviously the engines are the new style 6 bolt block , upgraded electronics. Would these engines be legal at all events , seeing as they are " newer style" ?. I am not questioning the quality or expertise at all , as they will be awesome power plants.

I don't see any reason why they would not be legal to run in VKA since they allow "new" KT100's from places like Woltjer, Comet, Adkins etc. to run.

They are allowed in VKA .  They were not allowed at TBO a few years ago.

Good to hear , the newer style block is pretty stout compared to the other older versions.

Are they as of now allowed to be run at tbo? I have a 64 fox and planned on a us820 for a power plant

Jeff is right. This program is taking some time to get up and running. Those that have run in the class are really having a good time. Hopefully by this time next year the events are loaded with karts running this class. I ran in it a New Castle and had a good time.
