This KT100 will be an upcoming prize at one of the vintage events. It was no problem to give back by doing a blast and burnish. It's on it's way to JB for a full rebuild.
A big part of why I like doing this work is because I get to see parts I'll probably never own. So when someone asks me to burnish some NOS BM130 pieces, I jump at the chance.
Here is the difference in color made just by glass bead.
The original factory hone had to be preserved.
After a light exterior blasting.
