Vintage Kart Mug Sheet
#1
Alot of people find Vintage karts and then try to identify them. This is a complicated process that requires alot of knowledge or pictorial guides. typically we go to old go kart articles picture ads and real life pictures. This Slide Show has picture ads of any Racing Kart Ad we can find. if you have an ad we don't have please be sure to post it we'll insert it into the show. There were literally hundreds of Go Kart manufacturers in the Late Fifties to early Sixties. It was a huge fad and it blew up in a few short years. There were many reasons for the crash. One was cost as racing karts got more complex they started getting expensive to buy and race. Another factor was new laws designed to "riegn in" the careless karters. At first Karters were welcomed at empty parking lots but it began to get harder as liability issues cropped up. Noise complaints Town ordanances passed against the karts and a general mis-understanding about who and what karting was all combined to slow down karting growth. Anyway the early days were great and it's fun finding a vintage kart. This slideshow may help you identify it.  Here ya go

Nice Pics! Thanks for the time / effort. I chuckle every time I see that foreign engine add with the K30. Its rod length was not 92mm. It was at least 102mm.
