Vince Rosenelli -There seems to be a few add-ons to your kart. You should remove and clean up the bracing on the front right side frame near the spindle and those areas with the welded on angle stock just under the frame just below the seat hoop. Also, I'm pretty sure, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that Simplex I and II did not use that type of dual throttle control system. It seems like that was welded on after manufacturing. There is a gentleman on this forum that sells copies of the Simplex MKI/MKII Service Manual and Parts Catalog on EBay. It's a good, inexpensive investment on determining what parts you'll need and what doesn't belong on the kart too. In the meantime here is what the throttle linkage should look like...
