Yeah. I saw some examples of 3D printed sintered aluminum printed models. They looked pretty much as good as castings, but the price at a proto shop....WoW! Ted

I went to a seminar put on by Siemens (NX and SolidEdge) and there was a company there with a prototype machine, desktop size, for metal printing. They said they were about 6 mo. to a year away from production. Of course no indication of what it will cost.
