users with fake/handles names are now restricted to read only see post on how to fix
#1
hi guys,

this is a administrative post to members with fake names or handles.
we don't allow fake names/handles to post.
i've puzzled on how to fix the issue of users with fake names still posting before fixing their name "mistake".
i finally realized i could make a new user class and did.
from now on users who chose to have fake names or handles are welcome to the forum but will not be able to create a new tread.
they will be allowed to reply to threads in a limited way but no posting for sale or gheneral posts will be allowed till you correct you name to a real one.

you'll certainly know if you're one as i've modified how these users are seen
example
johndoe non poster contact admin for name change to post

i don't get why everyone is so fascinated with posting on facebook.
as a information resource facebook is useless.
you can't search facebook for past posts and the advise is kinda sketchy at times.

the whole point of this forum is to store information in an easily searchable format.

rant over

gotta luv facebook ..

person ask question ..

first person useually gives correct answer ..

then 10 people give sorta the right answer but worded different ..

then topic drifts off topic to how hot jerrys cousin is

15 more useless comments

then one more correct answer but 10 people say its already been answered

topic drifts off again to who won the biggest trophy in 1981 ..
