yep...pictures would be nice...101s as core motors( meaning the will have to be rebuilt, sitting that long requires rebuilds) are prolly in the 500 to 800 range each...and much of that depends on how they are set up...stock carbs GEM V12?? dual carbs,,,exhaust( pipes or cans, clutches??? )  chassis, again depending on condition, 600 to 1500 ,,again depending on condition,,,correct wheels , correct fuel tank  correct upholstery....

you will most likely get many different values,,what really counts is what the buyer is will to spend....and you cannot do that with out very good detailed pictures...

hi earl,
welcome to the forum and thanx for correcting your name.
.the question of value is really subjective.
we absolutely will need pix to see general condition of kart.

steves estimate of 2500.00 is pretty steep i'd assume he's figuring complete in good condition.
gary price is more probable especially if un-restored.

if you have one to sell say so and post pix. if you're looking to buy one post pix and what seller is asking. we'll be happy to comment on fairness of price.

vintage karts are popular but not hugely valuable.
often restoring them costs more than they are worth when done.
but they are fun to drive and this is a hobby not a business to make money.
my two cents
Cool

ok now we are getting somewhere.
i'm assuming you are a newbe but please correct me if i'm wrong.
are you looking for a rupp specifically
 or a dual engined kart
or just wanting to get started in vintage.

do you want a ready to run kart
 one just needing light restoration
or a full on project you wanna do everything.

i'll give my standard advise to newbes as it was told to me.
buying a damaged frame project may seem cheaper at first glance.
but if you go that route you'll soon discover all the smalls that are missing add up to significant investment both in time searching and money.

a more effective restoration or runner route is to buy a finished kart and change it to your taste or style.
or at least buy a kart that hasn't been molested or parted out.
the more complete a chassis you buy the less hassle you'll face when building it.

Cool
