You Tube is addictive, isn't it?
I highly suggest doing a search on "This Old Tony." He's very skilled, tosses in subtle humor AND does a great job of editing, including fast-forwarding through repetitive operations.

first no you can't make that part from sheet stock.
 it needs to be cast. if you like i'll post a casting video!
anyway progress.
we moved the kart today and i commented about pulling that part.
