oil choice for mixing - Chuck Lipka - 03-12-2019 I've used the last of my Redline Synthetic. What's the "best"/most used alternative? Blendzal green label....... (#460) on a near empty bottle I have, or Burris (I think) in a black bottle with a gray and red label. And to further the confusion, the Burris stuff is offered in a castor/synthetic blend or straight castor. The oil is to be used with both alky and gasoline. Fresh built West Bends, (2 of them are Bonbright built), Tillotson carbs. Chuck RE: oil choice for mixing - ted johnson - 03-12-2019 I use only alky/Blendzall 460 Green Label. Last stuck an engine in the late seventies, but not with Blendzall. Messy, but effective. TJ |
