Sorry for the grainy photo but it's all I have to work with. if you have an idea of what it is please let me know. Thanks!

Bears a resemblance to the earlier Sensation karts. I can't find photos of any of their karts. Ted

Ted thanks for the response. When you provided the name I was able to look it up and find a picture. Looks like this one has had some work done to it.

I'm not sure if it's a late Sensation. Early models had a straight axle with simple spindle hangers and long kingpin barrels with the axles welded up high to drop the front end. The karts were not popular, so pix are hard to find. Sensation built mowers early on. My Pop used to sell them in the early fifties, and he actually built and sold sort of copies of the mowers to the Melbourne, FL lawn cutting industry for a few years. Quality construction on their mowers. Ted

The picture I found showed a yellow kart with scrub brakes and saw tooth tires in the front. This one has drum brakes and slicks. I can find no reference anywhere on performance. I guess I was lucky to find the picture.

The yellow kart must've been an "itchy" Sensation; it had a "lice" axle on it. TJ

Yeah, those "lice" axles are pretty rare!!!

Stan, great minds think alike! Ted

Ha! Ha! Good eye, Ted! The copywriter/typesetter certainly watching out for the Sensation Mower Company and thought "lice."  Saying, "What the heck is a live axle?"  Big Grin
