Bob RE: Rev grip bushings - frank manuel - 03-02-2019 Thanks Bob. Great bit of information I did not know about. Probably saved me some cussing! RE: Rev grip bushings - Paul Hail - 03-04-2019 Granger is a good source of bushings if you're having trouble finding them. https://www.grainger.com/category/power-transmission/bearings/sleeve-and-clip-bearings/sleeve-bearings RE: Rev grip bushings - frank manuel - 03-05-2019 Thanks for the info Paul, but don't these bearings have to be oilite? Sorry Paul I mean bushings . Brain fade. RE: Rev grip bushings - ted johnson - 03-05-2019 McMaster Carr should have oil-filled bushings. I get mine from them. Ted RE: Rev grip bushings - frank manuel - 03-06-2019 Thanks Ted. Forgot about them. RE: Rev grip bushings - ted johnson - 03-06-2019 Frank, I don't ever use a bushing drum. I got tired of hearing them howl. I use 10T drums with needle bearings. Even with the 4" rear wheels on the n1ke I have no trouble getting the ratios I need. My converted saw clutch on the XP Homelite uses a bushing, and I got these from McMaster, though it was several years ago. TJ |
