Cates: - Dominic Salvato - 02-24-2019 Cates, a vintage kart with an excellent racing reputation. Recently purchased Cates is on it's way to Alaska. Looking forward to working on it next winter. It will need the rear nerf bar. I've seen some interesting designs in that area. If you have any Cates parts you would part with PM me. 51214153_338129767034011_3553616349701865472_n.jpg (Size: 175.15 KB / Downloads: 88) I'm hoping the steering shaft can be separated from the frame. An earlier version (photo) couldn't be removed. The Cates suspension was advertise as adaptable to Darts and Caretta's. RE: Cates: - Paul Hail - 02-26-2019 So are there any vintage kart events in Alaska? They will need some serious TLC bringing back to life. If you could do some measurements, I would be forever in your debt. I would rather owe you that cheat you out of it anyway. Let me know if you want to help out a fellow vintage kart guy. RE: Cates: - Terry Bentley - 04-13-2020 I am still hoping to get some measurements for a Cates. I have one of each and they are in serious need of repair. If anyone is willing to make some yo-yo measurements, please let me know. Thanks RE: Cates: - Dominic Salvato - 10-31-2020 Sorry Terry, I didn't see the last post..what measurements do you need? |
