The 348e is a 4cycle alky carb.would it work good on an 820?

possibly yes but you'll probably need to do control needle swap.
typically 4 strokes use a much finer point on the needles for high and low fuel needles.
i've had horrible experiences experimenting with those needles and decided to not re-invent the wheel.

d Cool

There are a lot of the large intake HL's out there that were made for four cycles. Most seem to run well. You'll have to fiddle with hi and lo speed needles. TJ

Steve, I have a 348 that I've run a long time and it's been perfect

I ran two of them back a number of years ago on an open Atlas. It was a rocket. I have one sitting in the room behind me I haven't run yet. TJ
