The "barrel" type - or the "hat" type - RE: Ferrules - jeff brown - 11-23-2017 That hat type with the nut that has a flat bottom is highly recommended for brakes. Buy your brake line from a supplier like Comet, there's some Chinese junk around that is no good . NAPA carries Eaton fittings.
