CL - Orlando, Fla - Cheetah MK III Project Frame - Sterling Brundick - 11-06-2017

Came across this Margay frame located down in the Orlando, Fla area.  Price isn't too bad for a project frame.

Sterling,

If it were an original MKIII then $200 probably wouldn’t seem too bad. Unfortunately, that frame has been hacked up pretty good in the rear along with the fact that some extras have been welded on. The pedal and seat arrangements are wrong as they have been modified and that swing mount doesn’t belong on that kart, let alone, it seemingly being welded to the bumper.
The fact that he states he has over $500 into it is a fine example of what was being discussed on another recent thread in that choosing the wrong kart to restore could become very costly for someone just starting out or with limited knowledge. He seems to be happy to trade it for another vintage kart though, so hopefully he’ll have better luck the second time around!

Vince, I'm simply passing on the info.  I have no interest in it.  But someone else might.
