If you re talking about "bubble" tanks with a flat spot, I believe those were all Trophy tanks, as sold by K&P (Bug)..

the fox tank had flat spot but where stamped with kenworth millwakee on them.i have a couple tanks with flat spots but no stamping.was wondering if someone else made aluminumtanks with flat spot.

..pretty sure some fox karts come with palmini tanks ..?? mine have them ..maybe there not correct ..??

As I understand it the aluminium tank was made by Kenworth and the caps were bought by Fox from Palmini .

Be neat to see a photo of a tank like that.

I have a Trophy tank that will go on my Orange Krate, once it gets re-chromed.

The tanks we are talking about are aluminum.

Aluminum can be chromed not as easy as brass or steel but it can be done and is done often
for certain applications, highly polished aluminum can look just about as good as chrome but
not for long
