it looks to me a Manco yard kart. always looked like the very rough shape of a lancer to me.

Definitely a Manco.
Definitely not an Orange Krate. I have two of them, one completey original and in near-perfect condition. That is not an Orange Krate.

As has been said, " One persons junk is another's treasure"......not too many Vintage Racing Karters here would be
inclined to grab this chassis .....I didn't realize the early Manco's used a dead axle, I bought a Manco to convert
to a cycle cart offroad/weed lot runner, but lost interest in the project.......cause it's still a yard cart
!To each their own or something like that .......
