MC 101 crank - tom dandes - 06-19-2017 I'm building a 101AA for my son and need some information on the crank. I know the 101AA has the welded counter weights on the crank. So will the later model 101 cranks with the bolt on weights work as a replacement? What about the 125SP or CP crank will they work? Tom, I have an NOS SP125 crank for sale on ebay right now. Here is a link... http://www.ebay.com/itm/142413198080?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Will fit right in any 101 series motor. Other than the bolt/glued on vs welded on counterweights they are identical to the 101B crank with left hand threads and no key on the PTO side. I have run one for years without any issues. Steve O'Hara RE: MC 101 crank - tom dandes - 06-19-2017 Steve thanks for the reply, unfortunately it's about to expire from eBay and I don't have the money to spend roght now before it does. |
